Pandas

A panda is a black and white bear traditionally found in the Chinese rain forests. They are known to eat the leaves, stems, and shoots of bamboo. Pandas are very adorable, but to protect their young a mother panda may try to hurt you.

Wild pandas are only found in central China.  They only live in remote mountainous regions that consist of bamboo forests.  Pandas like their environment to be cool and wet which is why they live in bamboo rain forests.  The pandas call Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces in China their home.  They will typically live in these provinces because they are between 5,000 to 10,000 feet in elevation which is where it is cool and wet.
